I LOVE THIS WEATHER!!! :)

Wednesday, June 07, 2006

lately...i've been eating McDonald's soft serve cones. they're pretty good and not so heavy like real ice cream is. i wonder how bad or fatty the soft serve cones are.

...i've been on a shopping kick. or window shopping rather...i just like to go and look around but i don't always buy stuff. been on a hunt for some good handbags but they're outrageously pricey these days. all the ones that catch my eye are like $1000+...ouch.

...i've noticed the traffic is worse in the mornings. i take 280S to 101S...heard there were less drivers nowadays and more public transport ppl since gas prices are so high. guess not!

...i've been craving warmer weather. sf just isn't very warm. was thinking about taking mini "day trips" to walnut creek or san jose for the sunshine. i have a bunch of spring/summer clothes that i'd like to wear!

PVD is coming to town on Friday, 5/12...are we all too old to be interested in going? (I have to admit that the last time we saw Armin van Buuren I really enjoyed it, but also thought the music was a bit on the loud side for my ears...how sad!)

lately i've been thinking a lot about work and my feelings towards the whole corporate environment. i think i'm getting pretty tired of it. the other day my sister and i had a long conversation about corporate lingo and how much we hate it. for example, last week i was in a meeting where someone asked my coworker about something, and he said, "hm, i don't have any visibility to that." i thought to myself, why can't you just say i'm not sure, or i don't know? corporate lingo is designed to make people sound like they know more or are doing more than they really are! whenever i hear myself say things like "circle back" i just about nearly puke. but i still catch myself doing it...corporate america has sucked me in! i constantly feel like i'm in Office Space...oh well, i'll just deal with it for now.
